Algorithms, intermediaries, blockchain, data protection; some call our era the age of digital disruption, others call it the new dawn of opportunities. It seems safe to say that it is hard to keep track with technologies of the digital age, let alone work with them in a safe and professional way. ECPMF’s GAME CHANGER conference wants to discuss challenges and opportunities of new digital developments for the purpose of securing media freedom.

Henrik Kaufholz works as a staff reporter at Politiken in Copenhagen since 1974. He was a correspondent in Bonn 1980-85, Moscow 1995-97 and Berlin 1997-2002. From 1991 to 1995 he was a travelling correspondent in the Balkans. Kaufholz has lectured journalism in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Rusisa and the Baltic countries. He is the cofounder and first president of Foreningen for Undersoegende Journalist (FUJ, the Danish Association for Investigative Reporting). Since January
2003 he is the manager of Scoop - a support structure for investigative reporters in Ukraine, Moldova, Belorussia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Albania. Articles supported by Scoop have won numerous awards.
