FRAbot is the social bot in development at the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) of the European Union. Its aim is to counter hate speech online on Twitter by automatically identifying negative words and phrases and replying to them appropriately. FRA’s Blanca Tapia presents the project and discusses its potential advantages and the ethical dilemmas it produces with the ECPMF’s Jane Whyatt.
